so first of all get yourself an bronze or iron axe
then start to cut normal trees
until your woodcutting lvl is 15 and star cutting oaks
when your woodcutting lvl is 21, buy a mithrill axe
and get your woodcutting lvl to 35 and cut willow (you can cut willow on lvl 30 but its kinda slow)
when your woodcutting is 41, buy a rune axe
if you want to make money with woodcutting start cutting yews at 65 as yew logs can be sold for 400 gp each
